I whipped these babies up when I realized that I have an abundance of scarves, cowls, and bandits while my gloves/mitts stash is lacking entirely. They only take one skein of Quince & Co Finch Heathers even with a knit swatch, so they’re perfect for a one-skein project for yourself or some deserving person with cold hands.
This project gets its name from the word that Greek revivalists wanted to give to Manayunk, an area of Philadelphia, PA. If you’ve ever been here, you know that it is an area with lots of twists & turns, so it fit this pattern perfectly. Manayunk also happens to be home to the yarn shop from which I got the yarn. Udoravia means “place by the river”, and you can find Quince & Co. at Hidden River Yarns if you’re ever in the area!
This is NOT a listing for a finished product, but a pattern to make what is featured. Upon purchase you will receive a link to download the file to make this.
Feel free to email me at burkehousecraftsATgmailDOTcom if there are any questions, or send me a message here on Etsy. I made all efforts (double- and triple-checked!) to make sure that there are no errors in this pattern.
