Renovare Socks PDF Pattern

This pattern represents a renewal. Sometimes, you just have to start over, get back to doing things in the way that are natural to you, that make room for you. Designing these socks was a much-needed refresher & renewal for me to remember to design what I like to knit. A yarn like the Tukuwool Sock will work best. Think of a sturdy sportweight yarn with good memory; wool or wool/nylon blends are ideal!

YARN
Tukuwool Sock (80% Finnish wool/20% nylon; 160 meters/175 yards/50g): 2 (3, 3) skeins, shown in H23 Selja (golden heather; size small) and Ujo (pink heather; size medium).

NEEDLES
US 2.5/3mm double-pointed needles
This is a suggestion; use the needle size that helps you obtain gauge


GAUGE
27 sts and 36 rnds= 4”/10cm in charted pattern

SIZE
About 7” (9, 11)” circumference

Tapestry needle
